Mrs. Clifton has worked with several NGO's helping refugees and internally displaced people. She has lived in 5 countries: Cameroon, USA, Kenya, Ukraine, and Georgia. While working with the NGO's she helped teach ESL to university students and school aged children, she also taught art to both refugees and internally displaced people from the country of Georgia. She organized children's camps, medical clinics and teamed up with Lions Club to do eye clinics. She helped distribute food, clothes and medicine to those who were in need. Mrs. Clifton has moved back to the US and taught Art at Franklinton Middle School for 3 years, where her students bring her much joy. She is now teaching at Franklinton High School.

Mr. Kilgore has been teaching Band in North Carolina for 15 years. He began his career in Pitt County for 4 years at Farmville Central HS where he taught Band, Orchestra, and Choir. From 2014 to 2023 Mr. Kilgore taught at Spring Creek High School in Wayne County where he was the Band and Choir Director.
Mr. Kilgore joined the FHS family in the summer of 2024 and continues to lead the Band Programs at FHS. He lives in North Raleigh with his wife Tiffany (also a music educator) and his 2 daughters.

Mr. Cameron McDonald is a dedicated high school choir director at Franklinton High School, bringing with him a Bachelor's degree in Music Education from Methodist University. With a profound commitment to music and education, Mr. McDonald's leadership extends beyond the classroom, where he fosters a supportive and inclusive environment for his students to thrive. As an active member of professional organizations such as the National Association for Music Education (NAfME) and the American Choral Directors Association (ACDA), he remains at the forefront of industry trends and best practices. Through his unwavering dedication, Mr. McDonald inspires his students to discover their voices, cultivate their talents, and develop a lifelong appreciation for music and the arts
